Loofah discs are an exceptional base, allowing rapid water runoff and optimal aeration and drying of the soap, thus preventing it from melting or disintegrating prematurely.

Each drip-mat loofah disc for solid soap is made by using the middle part of the loofah plant "the heart," so that you have loofah slices of a large diameter.

Italian-grown Loofahs have a "heart" (maximum diameter) averaging between 4 to 7 cm. This is partly because of the climate but mainly because of the absence of the use of hormones and other toxic substances used for loofah plant growth.

The soap drip-mats are available in two different sizes: disc thickness 1.5 cm or 3 cm.
